Senior Estimator

About the role

The Senior Estimator is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring compliance with budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project stays within budget
• Review and analyze project specifications to determine costs
• Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends and pricing data to provide competitive estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with construction software such as Procore or ArchiCAD
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Project management tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
