Senior Estates Manager

AfC Band 8a (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,818.72 per annum (pro rata). Hours: 36 per week. Contract duration: Permanent.

About the role

The State Hospital is seeking to recruit a Senior Estates Manager with expertise in building maintenance, capital projects, water safety and ventilation management. This is a key leadership role that will support the development and sustainability of the hospital estate over the next 10–25 years through effective capital planning, project delivery and robust compliance arrangements. The post holder will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, secure and fit-for-purpose environment for patients, staff and visitors.

The role is responsible for all aspects of the Hard FM function, including business risk management, quality assurance, statutory compliance and the development and delivery of long-term maintenance strategies.

• Degree qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience in a relevant discipline.

Pay

AfC Band 8a (pro rata) plus a High Secure Environmental Allowance of £1,818.72 per annum (pro rata).

Schedule

36 hours per week.

Additional Information

The State Hospital is a high secure hospital. Based on a risk assessment, we welcome applications from people aged 16–18 for non-clinical roles; however, to be eligible for a clinical role, applicants should be 18 years or older.
