Senior Environmental Services / Housekeeping - PRN Evening

About the role

Sanford Health is now hiring Custodians, Housekeepers and Janitors to work in their fast-paced hospital environment. Positions have various start times available.

Responsibilities

• Supports the day-to-day operation of the department by ensuring staff have the equipment and supplies needed for their daily assignments.
• Responds to service requests.
• Aids in training.
• Maintains minor equipment.
• Covers sick calls.
• Assists with quality assurance inspections and project work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Yearly certifications for AORN terminal cleaning of invasive procedure rooms and pharmacy rooms per 797 standards may be required.

Pay

$15.50 - $23.00 per hour
