Housekeeping Utility Associate - Environmental Services (Evenings) (PRN)

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, linen, and bio-hazardous waste throughout the hospital
• Vacuum all carpeted corridors
• Clean entrances
• Perform assigned project work
• Dust mop hallways
• Mop hard floor corridors
• Perform EVS Patient Associate duties as requested
• Assist visitors who appear lost or confused and escort them to their destination

Requirements

• Ability to read and write to follow directives (grammar school or above)
• Must demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools after brief training
• Able to lift weights of up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• No prior work experience required
• Previous experience in a medical facility is desirable but not required
• One week to three months of on-the-job training provided
