About the role

The Environmental Services Aide maintains the facilities within the highest quality standards for the industry while complying with all federal, state and local regulatory agencies’ guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities to highest quality standards, complying with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Performs daily cleaning functions with minimal supervision and instruction.
• Handles, transports, accesses, and/or contacts medications and related supplies.
• May require additional work hours or shifts outside the normal schedule as needed.
• Requires working some holidays and rotating weekends.

Requirements

• No licensure, certification, or registration required for hire or continued employment.
• No prior experience required; previous environmental services work experience preferred.
• Previous experience with infection control procedures and universal precautions preferred.
• Must possess reading and writing skills and be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Serves all age groups.
• Physical requirements:
  • Lifting: less than 20 lbs., 20‑50 lbs., 50‑100 lbs., greater than 100 lbs.
  • Activities: prolonged standing, frequent bending, walking (distance), climbing (steps, ladder, other), reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive), repetitive motion.
  • Mental/Sensory: strong recall, hearing, speak clearly, reading, logical thinking.
  • Emotional: fast‑pace environment, steady pace, able to handle multiple priorities, frequent and intense customer interactions, noisy environment, able to adapt to frequent change.

Pay

Compensation range: $15.30 – $22.95 per hour. Actual salary offers are based on relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.

Schedule

16 hours per week; shifts from 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on a biweekly rotation: Week 1 – Monday and Tuesday; Week 2 – Monday and Friday.
