Senior Environmental Engineer - Wastewater Focused

About the role

The position serves as a technical leader and trusted advisor, overseeing the planning, evaluation, and design review of complex wastewater treatment and collection system projects. You will collaborate closely with municipal and private-sector clients to understand project objectives, provide expert guidance, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing engineering designs and technical reports
• Managing project schedules and deliverables
• Facilitating clear, proactive communication with clients throughout all phases of project execution
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Cooking up coordination work across internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Professional engineering (PE) license
• 12 years of related experience
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required

Skills & Abilities

• Expert Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices
• Expert Knowledge of engineer principles of design
• Expert Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Expert knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
