About the role

Our Central Region Environmental businesses are looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; or Golden, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
  • Cookordination and implementation of project permitting
  • Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
  • Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
  • Management of clients
  • Development of business opportunities
  • Mentorship of staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • PE or PG will be highly regarded
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
  • Project experience in federal contracts is beneficial
  • Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required

Qualifications

  • BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • MS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
  • PE or PG
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients

Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee

Pay

$86,600.00 - $167,000.00, varies based on experience and location.
