Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in the planning, design, and implementation of environmental engineering projects, including sewer, shoring, drainage, and erosion control systems.
  • Oversee the development and execution of wastewater engineering projects, ensuring they meet all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, construction managers, and environmental scientists, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Advise on sustainable construction practices, promoting environmental responsibility across all company operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior environmental engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, ensuring the company's environmental strategies remain cutting-edge and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering within the construction industry, with a focus on sewer, shoring, drainage, civil engineering, bridge, and erosion control projects.
  • Proven experience in wastewater engineering, including the design, implementation, and management of wastewater systems.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential environmental risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex environmental concepts to non-experts.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmental responsibility in the construction industry.

Pay

$125,000 - $175,000 per year
