About the Role
Join the Operations team within CZI, which supports the Biohub and Learning Commons missions. As a Senior Enterprise Systems Analyst, you will lead Salesforce platform initiatives, ensuring efficient and secure operations for CZI and its grantees.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex Salesforce platform initiatives, coordinating across IT, business units, and external partners.
- Own and maintain the platform roadmap, prioritizing business unit requests using structured frameworks.
- Define and track platform success metrics (adoption rates, user satisfaction, cycle time) to demonstrate impact and guide roadmap decisions.
- Communicate tradeoffs and priorities clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead the design, configuration, and development of Salesforce solutions, translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Perform hands-on configuration, testing, and QA, resolving bugs and supporting smooth release and deployment.
- Leverage Agentforce and Einstein AI to automate workflows, surface insights, and improve the internal user experience.
- Maintain technical documentation and drive continuous improvement based on feedback.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and central point of contact across business, technical, and vendor stakeholders.
- Gather requirements, define project goals, and secure alignment across teams and the technology roadmap.
- Provide ongoing updates and manage expectations at all organizational levels.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and emerging capabilities (AI, Agentforce, Data Cloud), incorporating relevant features into platform strategy.
- Maintain Salesforce certifications and share new capabilities with the internal team.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards, minimizing technical debt.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify AI automation opportunities and govern Agentforce agent deployment with security, legal, and leadership.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for Salesforce-related programs.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, data security, and governance policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLAs are met.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, administering, and supporting large-scale Salesforce solutions, with deep expertise across Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required, with advanced proficiency in Salesforce Flow.
- Proven experience managing complex technical programs, translating business needs into scalable solutions, and leading change management through training, enablement, and rollout communications.
- Ability to translate organizational strategy into a clear platform vision and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Airtable.
- Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to accelerate discovery and decision-making.
- Experience with Agentforce, Einstein AI, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, user research, and AI governance is a plus.
- Experience with Conga Contracts (Composer, Orchestrate), DocuSign integrations, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, GitHub, Gearset, Qualtrics, DocuSign Administration, or the philanthropy and grantmaking sector is a plus.
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud.

Pay
The Redwood City, CA base pay range for a new hire in this role is $171,000 - $214,000. Placement in the range is based on job-related skills and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process.
Schedule
This role is a hybrid position requiring you to be onsite for at least 60% of the working month, approximately 3 days a week, with specific in-office days determined by the team’s manager. The exact schedule will be at the hiring manager's discretion and communicated during the interview process.
