About the role
The Senior Enterprise Project Manager leads complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that improve organizational performance and align with strategic priorities. This role supports corporate and divisional strategic initiatives, manages the full project lifecycle, and provides guidance on business case development and project evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Support corporate and divisional strategic initiatives and objectives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource planning and allocation, schedule and budget management, risk, action, issue, and dependency (RAID) management, change management, deliverable tracking and reporting.
- Prepare and present written and verbal project status updates to leadership.
- Partner closely with project sponsors, business owners, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate project governance and phase-gate reviews.
- Evaluate project outcomes, lessons learned, and benefits realization.
- Provide guidance on business case development and project evaluation.
- Support governance processes, methodologies, tools, compliance, and adoption.
- Track and report project performance metrics and portfolio health.
- Analyze and prioritize projects based on strategic alignment.
- Perform resource planning and allocation analysis.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Develop and maintain project management standards, training materials, and best practices.
- Mentor junior and mid-level project managers.
- Build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Support emergency response and storm restoration efforts when required.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have 10+ years of project management experience, including complex Information Technology, Engineering, or enterprise-wide initiatives. They should have expertise with project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, and possess excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: 2+ years of change management experience, 2+ years of portfolio management experience, 2+ years of project governance experience.
- Knowledge of process management, change management, and strategic planning.
- Familiarity with business analysis, ITIL, software development life cycle (SDLC), COTS implementations, emerging technologies, and application support concepts.
- Experience in the utility, energy, or critical infrastructure industries.
- Required: PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Preferred: PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).

Pay
$125,000 - $126,000 per year.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
