The CACI Agile Solution Factory (ASF) is seeking a collaborative, self-starter to join our team as a Senior Enterprise Architect. In this high-visibility role, you will create architecture models for systems and networks using Architecture Modeling tools, strictly adhering to the current DoDAF and UAF frameworks. You will work closely with clients on critical applications, improving data design within a cross-functional team of Data and Enterprise Architects, government civilians, and military personnel. The ideal candidate will have software development expertise to support Enterprise Architecture projects, develop architectural products, and advise on the feasibility of future projects.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an architecture products inventory list.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with end user-facing teams to define technology migration strategies and approaches.
  • Drive adoption and adherence of reference architectures, replacing tactical solutions with strategic solutions.
  • Provide guidance to end user-facing teams on enterprise activities, architecture issues, and resolution definition.
  • Perform architecture reviews to ensure initiatives align with future state goals.
  • Advocate for effective architectural designs and optimize current architecture and processes.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, compliance issues, or other architectural concerns.
  • Support scalability, skill transfer, and organizational change management by promoting visibility and real-life architecture representation.
  • Ensure appropriate resources are allocated to resolve complex production issues affecting enterprise applications.
  • Analyze project-related problems and create innovative solutions involving schedule, technologies, methodologies, tools, and solution components.
  • Ensure product quality and timeliness of efforts.
  • Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPT) sessions.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret DoD security clearance.
  • College degree (B.S., M.S.) in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Data Architect supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) G6.
  • Experience with the current version of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) for Enterprise Architecture conceptual modeling.
  • Strong understanding of the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
  • Experience in enterprise application design patterns and the agile management framework.
  • Understanding of key business drivers.
  • Ability to resolve problems and roadblocks effectively, driving innovation and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support Engineers to implement innovative technical solutions via an iterative approach.
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills; self-starter.
  • Ability to work independently to identify and resolve problems.
  • Experience integrating and working with Data Architects and Data Scientists.

Skills

  • Expert understanding of DoD industry-standard DoDAF and UAF frameworks.
  • Proficiency with automated software tools such as Vantage, ARIS, and Visio for diagram creation and information recording.
  • Ability to create, update, publish, and archive Government-specified architecture viewpoints and models (both current and future) in accordance with DoDAF/UAF current versions.
  • All necessary skills to successfully accomplish tasks listed in the Responsibilities section.
  • Desired: Practical experience in MS Azure, AWS, or similar cloud technologies related to software development using SaaS or PaaS models.
  • Desired: Technical certifications such as Open Certified Architect, Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect, or related credentials.
  • Desired: Experience using Cameo MagicDraw.
  • Desired: Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, contributing to the development of innovative ideas.
  • Desired: Experience working on unusually complicated problems, providing highly creative and resourceful solutions.
  • Desired: Understanding of DISA STIG.

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $113,200 - $237,800. Final salary will be influenced by factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

Up to 10% local travel may be required.
