Senior Enterprise Account Manager
About the role
The Senior Enterprise Account Manager at Adyen is responsible for managing the most strategic accounts, building deep relationships with key decision-makers, and providing payments expertise and guidance to help merchants grow.
Responsibilities
- Build deep trusting relationships with decision makers and executives on our most strategic accounts
- Establish a global network within Adyen and work collaboratively across cultures and time zones
- Drive commercial negotiations with customers to win new business and close complex deals, while meeting strategic and financial targets for assigned accounts
- Act as the human dimension of Adyen’s product by delivering payments expertise and guidance to customers
- Be a senior presence and source of knowledge on the team, and help others level up through training and mentorship
- Proactively manage multiple cross-functional projects, prioritizing tasks to ensure thorough execution on cross-regional projects involving internal and external stakeholders
- Advocate and champion for your customers internally, serving as a feedback loop to influence Adyen’s product roadmap
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role such as account management, consulting, or working in the payments industry from a merchant perspective
- Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English
- Some domestic and international travel required

- Strong background in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services
Skills
- Enjoy engaging others, working collaboratively, and developing strong working relationships at all levels of management
- Passionate about leading strategic payments conversations, presenting business reviews, and coordinating high-level technical discussions
- Highly skilled in leveraging business acumen and analytical abilities to align strategic goals and help customers reach them
- Proficient in synthesizing complex data sets and leading with a consultative approach
Benefits

Schedule
This role is based out of our San Francisco office and requires some domestic and international travel. As an office-first company, we value in-person collaboration and do not offer remote-only roles.
