Responsibilities
- Assembly, test, debug and rework of compact electro-mechanical systems including fine-pitched soldering, small scale paste/reflow; custom cables and adapters; sub-cm enclosures with plastic/metal/composite materials
- Order, use and maintain electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, spectrum analyzers and standard-specific compliance testers
- Develop and maintain build & debug procedures for prototypes
- Operation and debug of automated component test and data collection systems
- Engage and manage fabrication vendors to deliver components, PCB/PCBAs, metal/plastic parts for prototypes
- Manage lab space, equipment, supplies, inventory
Qualifications
- Soldering/reflow expertise, down to 01005/QFN/BGA 300 um pitch
- Understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings
- Comfortable selecting, operating, maintaining benchtop electrical test equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Safety conscious, dependable and positive attitude
- Ability and interest to solve problems outside of your expertise

Payscale
Ranged from $40/hr - $50/hr based on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
