Our DoD/Aerospace Client is looking to fill a Senior Engineering Technician position supporting advanced defense and aerospace programs. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic and electromechanical systems in a highly technical engineering environment. The position is based in Bloomington, MN and is on-site. Location: Bloomington, MN Position: Senior Engineering Technician Contract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct Pay: $29.05/hour Education/Experience: Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Schedule: 2nd Shift Clearance Requirement: U.S. citizenship required Position Overview As the Senior Engineering Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting engineering activities involving the design, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electronic and electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment. In this role, you will build, test, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and modify components, assemblies, subsystems, and complete systems while supporting laboratory and engineering development efforts. Daily responsibilities include conducting experiments, documenting results, maintaining equipment, preparing compounds and solutions, and constructing tooling and fixtures to support unique engineering requirements. You will also help identify process improvements, analyze data to determine cause-and-effect relationships, and recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency and performance within the engineering environment.
