Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will oversee the infrastructure function with a focus on reliability, operational excellence, and internal developer productivity. The role will partner closely with Product Engineering, Security, and Data teams to strengthen production systems and improve the tooling engineers rely on every day. You will guide a growing team, shape incident response and readiness practices, and help balance resilient operations with faster delivery across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow individual contributors, including hiring and performance management
• Own operational excellence, including observability standards and incident response
• Develop SLAs/SLOs and conduct Production Readiness Reviews
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Security, and Data leaders to streamline infrastructure and tooling
• Balance reliability work with initiatives to enhance engineer productivity

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years in engineering management, ideally managing managers or senior ICs
• Experience leading infrastructure or developer-productivity teams for consumer products
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and Kubernetes
• Comfort operating scalable, high-performance production systems
