Senior Infrastructure Engineering Manager

About the role

Seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Leader to manage a high-performing team responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining GPU/AI/ML infrastructure supporting demanding enterprise workloads. The role involves leading technical customer engagement, troubleshooting, and optimizing infrastructure performance. You will develop automated solutions for provisioning, configuring, and monitoring infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, overseeing design, implementation, and maintenance of GPU clusters.
• Drive development of automation tools using technologies like Slurm, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Act as a technical liaison, supporting pre/post-sales efforts and guiding customers on best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex performance, scalability, and reliability issues, implementing effective solutions.
• Document infrastructure designs and configurations for knowledge sharing and maintainability.
• Educate customers on cloud migration, advanced GPU solutions, and architectural best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of senior software engineering or related leadership experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
• Proficiency with cloud and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Python).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, Linux system administration, and performance tuning.
• Experience in AI/ML or HPC infrastructure design and management.
• Ability to develop strategic plans, influence stakeholders, and manage complex projects.
