What You'll Be Doing Provide direct support to the Technical Advisor for C-UAS Technology, Systems and Applications in the evaluation of the entire DoD portfolio related to C-UAS across the Joint Force.Support of the C-UAS JCO in the Core Discipline of Technical Management to include requirements analysis, concept development, science and technology, research, and development for JCO C-UAS efforts.Provide Subject Matter Expertise support in the areas of Systems Engineering, Advanced Technology and Concept Development, Architecture Design, System Design, System Integration, Interoperability, Modeling and Simulation, Requirements Analysis, System Effectiveness & Analysis.Provided SME Technical Support for meetings, briefings, and assessment of direction from Army and DoD Senior LeadersParticipate in technical reviews and meetings between and JCO and other Government organizations and contractorsMake technical recommendations to include improved capabilities and performance of weapon systems, sensor systems, Command and Control systems, system /subsystem integration and interoperability. What Required Skills You'll Bring Hold an active Secret or able to obtain Top Secret within 3 months of hireAn advanced degree from an accredited institution in a STEM discipline20+ years demonstrated experience in Air Defense, Defensive Fires, Counter-UAS, or Integrated Air & Missile DefenseDemonstrable knowledge of missiles and space, radars, command and control, and systems engineeringDemonstrable experience in briefing/interacting with senior government and military personnelSelf-motivated and able to assertively document and follow-up on customer requestsHands-on knowledge in coordinating problem resolution and working across engineering functional areas. What Desired Skills You'll Bring 10+ years experience in all areas/types of C-UAS technologiesCurrent Top Secret with SCI eligibilityFamiliarity with Army battle command and control systems such as Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System, Forward Area Air Defense Command and Control, and the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command SystemFamiliarity with the Joint All Domain Command and Control system strategy and developmentCurrent or recent experience working in Integrated Fires & Rapid Capability Office, Integrated Fires Mission Command, or other PEO M&S organizations Security Clearance Requirement An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
