About the role

Ardurra is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead and support projects focused on water and wastewater systems. This role will play a critical part in delivering innovative engineering solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to sustainable water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities, distribution systems, and collection systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and professional development support.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment with objectives and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform site assessments, inspections, and evaluations to identify project needs and potential challenges.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, and project scopes in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 7+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a proven track record in project design and management.
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, and infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborative approach to leading and working within diverse, multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.
