About the Role
Entegris is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic and cross-functional Quality Engineering (QE) team. This high-impact, high-visibility role interacts with multiple levels and contact points within Customer, Entegris, and Supplier organizations. It requires a calm-assertive demeanor and the capability to manage multiple ever-changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Engage with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Factory Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Quality—as guided by QE leadership.
- Execute QE responsibilities in alignment with QE Policy documents, Entegris business processes, internal support plans, and direction from QE management.
- Support Advanced Purity Solutions operations in Bedford, MA, ensuring strong alignment with site priorities and quality objectives.
- Participate in internal initiatives such as Problem Solving, Change Management, Internal Audits, Project Development, Product Support, and Development Programs, as well as other cross-functional projects that advance organizational goals.
- Contribute as part of a global QE team focused on strengthening Entegris’ internal performance, collaboration, and process maturity.
- Work closely with teams across regions, functions, and product lines, including internal stakeholders and suppliers, to address a wide range of operational and quality challenges.
- Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork, consistently exemplifying the Entegris PACE values.
- Provide support for internal documentation needs such as business process documentation, item tracking, performance reporting, and continuous improvement project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3+ years experience in an engineering role in the areas of quality, process, equipment, or materials within the semiconductor industry.
- Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with experience in escalation.
- Project management experience with a focus on closing gaps between company capabilities and customer needs.
- Experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem-solving methodology.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours and alternate work shifts to balance workload across North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Experience working and communicating between North America-based manufacturing facilities and Asia-based support teams and customers.
- Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally (in the post-COVID era).
Qualifications
Outstanding candidates will have:
- Deep Quality Engineering toolkit: Control plans, PFMEA/DFMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, RCCA, DOE, gauge R&R.
- Manufacturing & process fluency: Hands-on with cleanroom or high-purity/semiconductor-adjacent environments.
- Change control & documentation rigor: Strong in ECN/ECO, deviation/waiver/Concession handling, and disciplined record-keeping in QMS.
- Audit readiness: Experience with internal audits (ISO 9001/14001/45001 or IATF-like rigor), audit prep, evidence packs, and closure of audit findings.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Proven success partnering with Ops, Supply Chain, Product, and R&D to land changes without disruption.

Pay
Compensation: $85,000 - $114,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role. Annual bonus eligibility.
