Senior Engineer - Physical
About the role
Mesa is seeking an experienced (8 to 14 years) BSEE or BSME for a position in Power Substation Physical Design. The successful candidate shall have extensive experience in the field of Power Substation Engineering Design within the US Power industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform Physical Substation design with a high degree of accuracy (Quality)
- Work well as a team member as well as individually
- Use MicroStation to create the assigned deliverables
- Interact with the Customer and meet their schedule and budgeting requirements
- Mentor junior Engineers/Designers
- Review work of other team members
- Perform work safely
Requirements
A BSEE or BSME from an ABET accredited University (required)
8 - 14 years of experience working in the power utility industry
Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all levels is required
Skills
Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation and/or Autodesk Inventor would be considered a plus
