Senior Engineer - Nuclear Deterministic Safety Analysis (LOCA & Containment)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineer - Nuclear Deterministic Safety Analysis (LOCA & Containment) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will support advanced nuclear safety analysis work with a strong focus on loss-of-coolant accident and containment evaluations. The engineer will serve as a technical expert on boiling water reactor systems and help ensure analyses meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements. In addition, the position will contribute to automation improvements, model development, and technical documentation that support high-quality engineering deliverables. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $111,200 – $213,200 annually Responsibilities Lead evaluations and analyses for anticipated operational occurrences Serve as a subject matter expert for advanced reactor loss-of-coolant accident and containment Perform thermal-hydraulic evaluations for loss-of-coolant accident and containment responses Develop and apply thermal-hydraulic evaluation models Deliver high-quality products meeting customer and regulatory standards Create and improve automation methods Prepare technical reports and documentation; ensure technical verification Qualifications B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Engineering, such as Nuclear, Mechanical, Physics, or a related field 8+ years of nuclear experience, or 6+ years with an M.S., or 4+ years with a Ph.D. 5+ years in thermal-hydraulic safety analysis, with preferred experience in loss-of-coolant accident and containment Extensive knowledge of nuclear engineering principles, especially in BWR systems Expertise in two-phase thermal-hydraulic analysis techniques Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Access to Health Coach and 24/7 nurse-based resources Retirement Savings Plan with company matching contributions Tuition assistance and adoption support Paid parental leave and disability benefits 12 paid holidays and permissive time off Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
