Senior Engineer, Mechanical - Static Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment for our Downtown Houston office. This is a Monday-Friday position.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical MOC/HAZOP signoff
• Site mechanical technical authority
• Venture Global engineering sign off on static equipment internal inspection / readiness
• Validation of pneumatic test packs and exclusion zone calculation
• Provides input to weekly site engineering report
• Review surveyor deliverables and assist with fit up / interface misses at site

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of twelve years combined experience in Design, Commissioning, or Operations of Static Equipment
• Experience representing asset owner in these roles is a plus
• Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferred
• Fire Equipment experience is required
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and work within project deadlines, adjusting as priorities change
• Ability to mentor others through technical training and guidance on planning, scheduling, and engineering subjects
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including P&IDs, PFDs, C&Es, One Line Diagrams, Isometrics, and Civil/Structural drawings
• Knowledge of applicable ASME and API standards
• Experience with systems completions
• Strong understanding of the design and operation of heat exchangers and process piping
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
