Responsibilities
- Install and customize z/OS operating system using IBM ServerPac
- Analyze and debug operating system and program product issues
- Provide technical support for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes
- Implement system improvements and modifications
- Facilitate project planning by managing milestones and schedules
- Provide technical training and mentoring to team members
- Monitor and resolve performance issues in mainframe environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of experience, or 9 years of experience without a degree
- Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting IBM mainframe software products
- Demonstrated experience with z/OSMF Configuration Assistant
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to execute tasks related to disaster recovery plans
- Familiarity with UNIX Systems Services, z/OS, REXX/CLIST, JCL
- Experience with various ISV products--System Management, Security, Data Management, Application Development, and Performance Optimization
