Senior Engineer Journeyman

About the role

The Engineer Journeyman will oversee a team of skilled technicians, administrative staff, and entry-level professionals, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily workflows and directing employees to achieve established objectives.
• Implementing and managing policies, procedures, and processes that impact team performance and unit operations.
• Recommending improvements to optimize unit policies and practices.
• Making sure progress on assigned goals aligns with management directives.
• Managing office services such as equipment operations, facility needs, and administrative operations.
• Cooking up and coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements, including reservations, lodging, car rentals, and itineraries for employees, while resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Maintaining and organizing travel records and documentation.
• Supporting deliverable data management, including identification, production, storage, distribution, and retrieval.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years’ experience.
• Required Clearance: Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
• Required Skills: Avionics experience of any kind, proven ability to supervise, guide, and motivate teams, strong understanding of workflows and processes, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
