Senior Engineer

About the role

Senior Optimizely Developer with 10+ years of professional development experience, including 5+ years delivering solutions on Optimizely CMS/DXP. The role involves leading Optimizely solution design, API integrations, backend architecture, digital experience optimization, technical leadership, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, customization, and maintenance of solutions on Optimizely CMS and DXP, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Architect and develop seamless integrations between Optimizely and third‑party services (CRM Salesforce, Marketing Automation Marketo, analytics tools, internal systems) using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks.
• Build and maintain backend services with .NET C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core, ensuring efficient content workflows, publishing processes, and data consistency.
• Implement personalization, A/B testing, and experimentation features; work with Optimizely Web Experimentation and feature flagging.
• Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (front‑end, designers, project managers).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Optimizely CMS integrations, caching, and Core Web Vitals performance.
• Apply Agile methodologies; experience in Financial Services is a plus.
• Leverage Optimizely certifications (CMS/Commerce) when available.
• Work with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js) or headless CMS implementations.
• Utilize cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional development experience.
• 5+ years specifically delivering solutions on Optimizely CMS/DXP.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Deep understanding of ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
• Proven experience designing and building robust API integrations (RESTful services, OAuth 2.0, JSON).
• Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, databases (MS SQL), and service‑oriented architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to work autonomously.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science preferred).
