Senior Engineer - Integrated Plant Design (Remote Eligible, U.S)

Responsibilities

• Lead Plant Integration Engineering (PIE) activities for GE's BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor
• Oversee project scheduling, resource planning, and act as primary contact for engineering team communications
• Conduct component and system integration for maximum performance and cost-effectiveness
• Manage product and systems requirements and ensure accurate specifications flow down
• Drive identification and implementation of verification and validation (V&V) requirements across all levels
• Define plant-level design requirements and manage interfaces between systems and project management
• Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues, leading small projects with moderate risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in an engineering capacity
• Strong knowledge of plant operations, licensing and design bases, transient and accident analysis
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
