Senior Engineer, Informatica MDM

About the role

Royal Caribbean Group’s Data Analytics and AI Team is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer, Informatica MDM to join our team in Miramar, Florida. This onsite position reports to the Director of Enterprise MDM & Quality and is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Informatica SAS MDM Configuration: Configure and customize Informatica SAS MDM to implement the Party Model, including defining entity types, relationships, business rules, match and merge strategies, and user interfaces.
• Data Modelling: Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to design and maintain the data model for party-related entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from various source systems into Informatica’s SAS MDM platform via IDMC, performing data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Match and Merge: Implement match and merge rules to identify and consolidate duplicate records within party entities, enabling a single and accurate view of each entity.
• Address Doctor Engine: Configure reference and email/phone verification using the Address Doctor Engine.
• Data Quality Management: Define and implement data quality rules and workflows within SAS MDM to monitor, measure, and improve data quality across party-related data.
• Reference 360: Experience working with Reference 360 and its usage within the MDM domain.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data loading, matching, and retrieval processes for efficient operations.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct unit and integration testing to validate MDM configurations and ensure data accuracy within the MDM repository.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Automation: Build UNIX shell scripting, Pre-Session, Post-Session UNIX commands for automating Informatica job scheduling and repository backups.
• File Transfer and Loading: Work with SFTP/SSH file transfer and loading using SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL*Loader.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 4+ years of MDM Development experience with a focus on Informatica MDM and Party Model implementation.
• Hands-on experience implementing Informatica’s SAS MDM application.
• Experience working with Reference 360 within the MDM domain.
• Experience with CAI, CDI, and CDQ is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Informatica’s SAS MDM tools, including IDMC, and their functionalities for party entities.
• Familiarity with data modeling principles and data integration techniques.
• Strong understanding of data quality management and data governance practices within an MDM environment.
• Proficiency in data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot MDM-related issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable in technology and software development processes.
• Good presentation development and delivery skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with travel and hospitality industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouses/Lakehouse architectures, Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Data Integration, and Data Warehouse architecture.
