Job Description We looking to strengthen our team for capacitive touch sensing with an experienced engineer to drive touch validation. The main focus will be to analyze / optimize in hardware as well as PCB layout the performance of Microchip Touch solutions. Performing, documenting, improving industrial as well as automotive standardized noise robustness tests will be required frequently. You're going to work in a small group of touch development engineers in Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities Conducting and resolving with the R&D team automotive (ISO11452-4) and industrial (IEC6100-4-6) conducted immunity testsSchematic / BOM / Layout reviews for capacitive touch sensing solutionsPrototype PCBAOrganizing small batch PCB manufacturing incl. component sourcing Requirements/Qualifications 7.5+ years experience in RF problem solvingExperience in soldering on bench incl. handling of QFN packages Preferred Qualifications Experience in analog circuit designExperience in RF and conducted anti noise circuitry Travel Time 0% - 25% Physical Attributes Hearing, Seeing, Talking Physical Requirements 80% sitting, 10% walking, 10% standing Microchip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
