Senior Engineer I - Water/Wastewater

About the role

Lead engineering teams to design water and wastewater infrastructure for public-sector transportation improvement projects and locally administered private development projects. Clients include PennDOT, private developers, Philadelphia Water Department, and local municipalities in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

You will produce construction plans, specifications, and estimates for new infrastructure as well as rehabilitation of existing highways and streets.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater infrastructure in accordance with applicable standards and operational requirements.
• Prepare and assemble construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers on both new construction and rehabilitation projects.

Requirements

• MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience.
• Bluebeam PDF editor experience (preferred).
• Experience with plan production and assembly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
