Senior Engineer I - Product

We are seeking a senior-level Product Engineer with a focus in Planning and Project Management who can help advance dsPIC's mission by bringing structure, insight, and execution discipline to semiconductor engineering, new product development, and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Support and execute engineering planning strategies for new product introductions, engineering builds, wafer lots, qualification activities, prototype builds, and manufacturing transitions.
- Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, operations, planning, procurement, quality, and business teams to align technical requirements, material readiness, capacity, and execution timelines.
- Develop and use AI-enabled tools, analytics, and automation concepts to improve planning accuracy, new product development efficiency, and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate planning data across engineering systems, including bills of material, routing information, engineering work orders, part records, inventory status, and manufacturing readiness indicators.
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews that encourage timely communication, proactive problem-solving, and accountability for deliverables.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve schedule visibility, strengthen data quality, and enhance execution predictability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5 - 7.5+ years of experience in engineering planning, manufacturing planning, product engineering support, semiconductor operations, or a closely related technical planning role.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows, including wafer fabrication, assembly, test, qualification, engineering lots, and new product introduction processes.
- Working knowledge of AI, machine learning concepts, analytics, and automation opportunities within engineering or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks, technical dependencies, changing priorities, and cross-functional deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, management skills, and the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
