Senior Engineer Diver/Project Manager

About the role
We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, doer/seller to join our Ports & Maritime Team within our growing Engineer Dive Group as a Senior Engineer Diver/Project Manager. This position is for candidates with current experience as an engineer diver who are looking for a unique opportunity to work with an ENR top-rated Ports and Maritime global practice and to help build a team of engineer-divers in the Pacific Northwest. The candidate can expect the potential to work on travel assignments supporting existing contracts with the US Navy and other global clients. Potential candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to New York City or the surrounding metro area.
Responsibilities
- Interface with clients and project stakeholders
- Lead field inspection teams with strong communication skills
- Work collaboratively with structural engineers and CAD technicians
- Solve engineering problems and challenges
- Direct project tasks, manage projects, and participate in client presentations and proposal efforts
Requirements
- Substantial years of progressive experience as an Engineer Diver
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college
- Experience leading above and underwater inspections of waterfront structures and/or bridges
- Experience designing and analyzing waterfront structures
- Professional Engineer License
- Commercial Diving Experience and ADCI Certification
- Exceptional writing and communication skills (writing samples to be provided by applicants)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently
Project management and structural design experience strongly preferred.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
