Enable safety monitor subsystem integration and multimedia bring-up, including audio and camera functionality, for the AMD iRDK platform as part of the Ok2Book proof of concept (PoC). Responsibilities Integrate and validate the safety monitor subsystem on the AMD iRDK platform, including watchdog functionality, fault detection, error monitoring, and Fault-Tolerant Time Interval (FTTI) compliance.Develop, configure, and validate safety monitoring mechanisms to support system reliability, fault recovery, and diagnostic reporting.Lead camera subsystem bring-up, including MIPI CSI-2 interface integration, ISP (Image Signal Processor) enablement, V4L2 framework configuration, Camera HAL integration, and end-to-end image capture validation.Lead audio subsystem bring-up, including audio codec integration, ALSA driver configuration, Audio HAL development, playback and recording validation, and audio latency measurement and optimization.Debug and resolve hardware-software integration issues across camera, audio, and safety-related subsystems.Collaborate with AMD engineering teams to address driver, BSP, and platform-level support requirements for safety and multimedia features.Work closely with hardware, firmware, and application teams to ensure successful subsystem integration and platform readiness.Develop validation plans, execute functional testing, and document test results to verify system performance and stability.Support Linux-based multimedia frameworks and driver integration while ensuring compliance with platform requirements and proof-of-concept objectives. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $39.86/hour - $62.29/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
