Senior Engineer - Automation

Bristol Myers Squibb · Devens, MA · 1 mo ago
Information Technology$130k–$175k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description about company culture etc. We need to include sections only if real specific content. We have content: About the role (the description of role). Responsibilities listed. Knowledge & Skills. Minimum Requirements. Compensation Overview (pay range). Benefits (list). Shift Available (schedule). Also maybe "Working with Us" but that's generic company description; could be "About the role" or "About the company". The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We should not repeat job title as heading. We should not include Job ID etc. We need to preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate like cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. Also remove duplicated lines, application instructions. We need to decide sections: About the role (intro description of role and company culture). Responsibilities (list). Knowledge & Skills (list). Minimum Requirements (list). Pay (compensation). Benefits (list). Schedule (Shift Available). Possibly also "Qualifications" but we have Minimum Requirements; could combine. We'll follow headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Knowledge & Skills, Minimum Requirements, Pay, Benefits, Schedule. We must not emit sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have actual content. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We must preserve all substantive info: include shift schedule Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Include compensation range: Devens, MA - US: $130,000 - $175,000 (also later duplicate with $131,370 - $159,187). There are two compensation ranges; we need to preserve both? The posting includes two compensation overview lines: first "Compensation Overview: Devens, MA - US: $130,000 - $175,000". Later "Compensation Overview: Devens - MA - US: $131,370 - $159,187". Both are present; we should keep both? Might be duplicate but slightly different numbers. We should preserve all substantive info; not remove duplicates unless they are exactly same lines. They differ, so keep both. Could combine? Better to keep both as separate paragraphs. Benefits: list many items. We need to capture the bullet list under "Our Benefits Include:" and subpoints. We'll create

    • for each benefit line. We need to strip boilerplate like "Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us." etc. Also remove "If you come across a role that intrigues you..." etc. Also remove "Supporting People With Disabilities", "Candidate Rights", "Data Protection", etc. Those are boilerplate legal/EEO etc. Should be removed. Also remove "On-site Protocol..." etc. That's also boilerplate. We need to keep the shift, responsibilities, knowledge & skills, minimum requirements, compensation, benefits. Let's extract sections. First, intro paragraph about company culture and role: The posting starts with "At Bristol Myers Squibb, our employees often ask...". That's generic company description. Might be considered "About the role" or "About the company". We'll keep as prose under About the role. Then: "The Senior Engineer – Automation is a senior level technical individual contributor on the Process Automation Control Systems Team. This individual will be responsible for complex tasks within the group and operate autonomously with minor guidance and direction. This individual will maintain, configure, administer, and troubleshoot the DeltaV, PI, and integrated process equipment, and other systems supporting the manufacturing area. The incumbent must be independent, goal-oriented, flexible, able to work efficiently across multiple projects, enthusiastic, and innovative, with a solid understanding of good manufacturing practices and technologies to support the needs of the Site/Network Manufacturing Teams." That's role description; we can include in About the role. Then "Shift Available: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm" -> schedule. Then "Responsibilities:" list. Then "Knowledge & Skills:" list. Then "Minimum Requirements:" list. Then "Compensation Overview: Devens, MA - US: $130,000 - $175,000 The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate considers characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Finally, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience. Eligibility for specific benefits listed on our careers site may vary based on the job and location. For more on benefits, please visit https://careers.bms.com/life-at-bms/. Benefit Offerings Are Subject To The Terms And Conditions Of The Applicable Plans In Effect At The Time And May Require Enrollment." Then later: "Compensation Overview: Devens - MA - US: $131,370 - $159,187 The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the ro" (cut off). We'll keep both. Then benefits list: "Our Benefits Include: Health Coverage: Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision care.Wellbeing Support: Programs such as BMS Well-Being Account, BMS Living Life Better, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).Financial Well-being and Protection: 401(k) plan, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, supplemental health insurance, business travel protection, personal liability protection, identity theft benefit, legal support, and survivor support. All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown. Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program." We need to turn that into list items. Could break into categories but we can just list each sentence as
    • . Might be long but okay. We must not include boilerplate like "Uniquely Interesting Work, Life-changing Careers..." etc. That's after benefits; we should remove. Also remove "On-site Protocol..." etc. Now produce HTML. Structure:
