Senior Engineer APX Design Management
About the role
As a Senior Engineer for APX Fleet Design Management, you will guide fleet design decisions and standardization for the future fleet of AP1000 plants under development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead collection and assessment for incorporation of lessons learned into the fleet design
- Define delivery strategies for the AP1000 Nuclear Island (NI) and Turbine Island (TI), including standardization approaches
- Facilitate evaluation of strategic technical decisions and drive to agreement across multiple partners
- Work with teams (design, analysis, projects, and supply chain) to solve challenging technical problems to implement nuclear plant design
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers
- Identify and define technical challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in nuclear plant design preferred
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
