Responsibilities
- Oversees engineers performing diagnostics, monitoring and inspecting equipment, and reviewing grid technologies.
- Facilitates relationships to facilitate cross-functional knowledge transfer of related work groups.
- Leads the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborates and leads with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development, integration and implementation of future technologies and asset performance management strategies.
- Assists in a variety of engineering and business initiatives and grid strategies, including development of innovative procedures and design recommendations.
- Supports new equipment installation and startup, then leads the handover processes to the ramp and sustaining phases.
- Investigates threats on the distribution system infrastructure based on observations and findings.
- Gathers and correlates basic data using engineering studies and procedures, which may include routine and diagnostic testing of components and systems.
- Facilitates training and professional development opportunities for engineering team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in a scientific/technical/math field.
- Seven or more years of experience in engineering within operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.
- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a power emphasis.
- Advanced proficiency with CYME, MDI, Excel, and Snowflake SQL querying.
- Advanced knowledge of DSP process including profile cleansing, temperature normalization, and load growth allocation.
- Experience integrating Distributed Energy Resources onto the grid.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proved customer service experience with strong commitment to delivering responsive, solution-oriented support to customers and stakeholders.

- Access and manage private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
