About the role
Eversource seeks an experienced energy efficiency professional to lead and execute technical aspects of energy efficiency programs. This role requires a strong background in engineering and regulatory policy, with a focus on improving and expanding customer offerings.
Responsibilities
- Displays technical expertise and implements programs/initiatives/strategies
- Coordinates with various teams to refine and expand customer offerings
- Trains internal and external market actors on energy efficiency technical strategies
- Executes budgeting, invoicing, evaluation, and tracking of expenses for technical service contractors
- Led the development and coordination of calculation procedures and tools for regulatory filings and oversight of rate-payer funds
- Reviews and approves complex projects/programs requiring extensive engineering analysis/calculations, implementation strategy for new technologies, or energy simulation modeling
- Manages the integration of strategic activities between the customer, program administrators, advisory consultants, and vendor/contractors
- Represents Eversource in national energy efficiency conferences and stakeholder events
- Leads the evaluation of new technologies and other research and development activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in engineering or related technical role
- Strong understanding of regulatory policy and process
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention-to-detail
- Working knowledge of standard office computer software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Baccalaureate degree in engineering; advanced degree in engineering, business, or marketing is desirable
- Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or accredited Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional preferred
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $115,730.00 - $128,590.00. Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program, including potential incentives and eligibility for federal contractor benefits. Eversource is an equal opportunity employer.
