About the role
The Senior Energy Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing energy efficiency strategies to reduce consumption and costs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement energy efficiency strategies
- Conduct energy audits and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate energy efficiency into projects
- Train and mentor junior staff on energy efficiency best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency
- Proficient in energy modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Experience with LEED certification processes
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills
- Energy modeling software proficiency (e.g., EnergyPlus, EQuest)
- LEED AP certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
