The Senior Endpoint Administrator serves as a critical technical leader responsible for the security, scalability, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise endpoint environments across Windows and Apple platforms. This role owns endpoint governance, compliance, automation, deployment, patching, and modern workplace technologies that directly impact workforce productivity, operational resilience, and regulatory readiness. Operating within Empower’s hyper-growth, highly regulated 503A/503B environment, the role partners across Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Service Operations to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient endpoint services.

Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Administration Platform Management: Administer and optimize enterprise endpoint platforms across Windows and macOS environments, including Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, and Autopilot. Execute endpoint configuration, policy management, deployment, compliance monitoring, and lifecycle activities. Leverage AI-enabled insights and automation to improve service quality, accelerate issue resolution, and enhance decision-making.
  • Device Lifecycle: Execute end-to-end device lifecycle processes including provisioning, imaging, deployment, onboarding, refresh planning, retirement, and asset governance. Ensure devices are deployed securely, efficiently, and consistently while maintaining compliance. Utilize automation and AI-assisted tools to reduce manual effort and improve deployment speed.
  • Application Delivery: Manage application packaging, deployment, maintenance, updates, and retirement across supported endpoint platforms. Ensure software availability, compatibility, performance, and compliance while minimizing business disruption. Apply automation and AI-enabled capabilities to improve deployment success rates and streamline software delivery.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain endpoint security controls, compliance standards, vulnerability remediation, and endpoint protection. Execute security policies, monitor compliance, support audit readiness, and partner with cybersecurity teams to address risks. Utilize AI-driven analytics to improve threat visibility and accelerate remediation.
  • Patch Management: Administer enterprise patch management processes for operating systems, applications, and endpoint technologies. Coordinate testing, deployment, validation, and remediation to ensure timely patch implementation. Leverage automation and AI-assisted prioritization to improve deployment effectiveness and reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, document, and enhance operational procedures, technical standards, runbooks, and support documentation. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies. Apply data-driven analysis and AI-enabled recommendations to improve productivity and reduce recurring issues.
  • Advanced Support: Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 endpoint support for complex technical issues. Perform root cause analysis, implement sustainable solutions, and restore service with urgency. Utilize AI-enabled troubleshooting tools to accelerate diagnosis and improve resolution quality.
  • Infrastructure Integration: Support endpoint integration with infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, networking, identity, and collaboration platforms. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint services remain secure, connected, reliable, and scalable.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a trusted endpoint subject matter expert by providing technical guidance, mentoring support personnel, and promoting knowledge transfer. Maintain comprehensive documentation and leverage AI-enabled knowledge management to enhance accessibility and support continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise administering Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, Windows 10/11, macOS, Autopilot, endpoint deployment technologies, and enterprise device lifecycle management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance management, vulnerability remediation, patch management, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and enterprise governance practices.
  • Advanced automation and scripting capabilities utilizing PowerShell and related technologies to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools, analytics, and automation platforms to improve decision-making, accelerate problem resolution, and drive operational excellence.
