About the role
A highly regarded regional business law firm based in San Jose, CA, with 4 offices across Northern California, is seeking a Senior Employment Law Attorney. The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5+ years of labor and employment law experience
- Experience taking depositions, handling hearings, and being lead counsel on a case
- Familiarity with wage laws, leave, and compliance matters (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FLSA and Ca Labor Codes)
- Experience with policy development, compliance training, and managing pre-litigation disputes
Responsibilities
Take depositions, handle hearings, and be lead counsel on cases.
Develop and enforce company policies related to employment law.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on employment-related issues.
Manage pre-litigation disputes and represent clients in court.
Requirements
Juris Doctor in good standing with the CA Bar.
Minimum of 5+ years of labor and employment law experience.
Experience taking depositions, handling hearings, and being lead counsel on a case.
Familiarity with wage laws, leave, and compliance matters (FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FLSA and Ca Labor Codes).
Experience with policy development, compliance training, and managing pre-litigation disputes.
