About the role
We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer specializing in embedded electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and review electronic hardware systems, including schematics, component selection, and validation.
- Apply best practices in PCB design/layout, ensuring signal, power integrity, EMC/EMI compliance, and manufacturability.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and hardware integration within products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align requirements and support product development.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, firmware, and system issues, supporting verification and validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards, supporting new product introduction and manufacturing.
- Contribute to engineering process improvements and design guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
- Expertise in embedded architectures, microcontrollers, schematic design, debugging, and PCB principles.
- Experience with cross-functional product development, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools like Altium or OrCAD.
Preferred Skills
- Electromechanical integration experience.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB).
- Microcontroller programming in C.
- Manufacturing process knowledge.
- Compliance and certification experience.
- Experience in regulated or harsh environments.
