Senior Electro-Mechanical Assembler
About the role
The Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician for Weiler Labeling Systems is responsible for the Assembly of the Electromechanical equipment designed and built overall daily activities of their assigned projects on the production floor, the system performance during pre-FAT testing and the FAT testing of the system. This includes advanced rotary and in-line pressure sensitive labelers, label printers, and syringe plunger rod insertion solutions for leading pharmaceutical and consumer products companies.
Responsibilities
- Assemble Electro-Mechanical Industrial Automation equipment
- Debug and perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of systems
- Support project engineers with troubleshooting assembly, electrical, software issues
- Interpret and apply new technologies to existing processes
- Interface with customers during visits, FATs, and other project meetings
- Communicate tasks to the cross-functional team during the machine project setup phase
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in assembly of Electro-Mechanical Industrial Automation equipment
- Training in lean or 5S or other contemporary manufacturing techniques preferred
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, programming, software, and mechanical aspects
- Solid knowledge of automated packaging equipment
- Good general knowledge of automation controls, system mechanics, and setup
- Ability to support debug efforts with production and engineering staff
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Read and interpret technical mechanical part drawings and assemblies
- General understanding and ability to read electrical schematics

Base Salary Range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
