About the role
Evergreen Innovation Group, part of DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical commercial construction projects within DPR’s core markets: Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial. This critical leadership role is responsible for day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management, ensuring projects are completed on time with high-quality standards, safety, and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Manage all project team members (Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinator).
- Mentor, develop, and train team members for fast-paced growth.
- Maintain 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
- Oversee cost control, billings, and collections for assigned projects.
- Act as the key point of contact with owners and architects.
- Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work teams.
- Ensure accountability for project completion, financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate understanding and alignment with the vision and mission of Evergreen Innovation Group.
Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience in electrical commercial construction.
- Experience running multiple complex, highly technical projects, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Skills
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Experience creating and supporting team morale.
- Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
Physical Requirements
- In-person role at our job site in Abilene, TX.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Travel to and from the office as well as assigned job site(s).
