Senior Electrical Estimator Water/Wastewater

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Review design documents
• Identify design discrepancies and scope gaps
• Prepare estimates from concept to completion
• Utilize Accubid Anywhere software for project management
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with other estimators
• Work with vendors/subcontractors to ensure proper Bill of Materials and Scope
• Prepare Scope of Work
• Prepare Pricing Proposals
• Prepare Value Engineering
• Manage trend logs
• Manage project budget
• Identify constructability issues
• Work with the operations team to find best solutions and identify needed design changes
• Attend design meetings
• Communicate with clients/engineers to maintain relationships and profitability

Minimum Qualifications

• Five or more years of electrical estimating experience
• Project Management experience preferred
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of the electrical industry, specifically in Water and Wastewater
• Entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and ability to handle various tasks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to learn from others
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and consistent
• Desire to deeply understand and become an expert on projects
• Accountability for project success and workmanship
• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse, dynamic, and fast-paced environments
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Computer knowledge including MS Office, Accubid, Bluebeam, and ability to quickly learn new software
• Accubid Anywhere experience preferred
• Enjoy working in a team, leading, and producing high-quality work
