Senior Electrical Engineer - security clearance required
Job Location at a client site in Huntsville, Alabama. This position requires a TS Clearance.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, and customer focused. This position will be working with our Federal group as an owner’s representative on exciting projects.
Responsibilities
- Act as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects
- Provide expert electrical engineering comments based on these requirements
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction
- Coordinate with client peer colleagues, client Project Managers, customers and other client personnel/contractors, and other project team members on projects as necessary
- Perform other similar or related services not of a decision-making nature
- Provide miscellaneous services which will require proficiency in the use of Microsoft’s Word, Excel, Power Point, Project software tools and AutoCAD
- Assist in the development of reports, studies and presentations
- Exhibit professionalism, good customer service and communication skills and serve as a cooperative team player
- Multitask and assume multiple projects or assignments simultaneously
- Collaborate and assist in resolving critical and possibly controversial issues with a multi-disciplined team of architects, engineers and federal agency clients
- Exhibit resiliency if shifting priorities require reprioritization of workload
- Understand and be able to implement standards as outlined in the POR, client Design Guides and Construction Standards; suggest edits or updates to these documents, as applicable
Requirements
- An active Secret Security Clearance is required for this position; Top Secret is preferred
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Attainment of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferable
- Minimum ten (10) years of related experience and/or training in commercial/government office building design and construction; 20 years is preferable

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $190,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
