The Senior Electrical Engineer will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, and customer focused. This position will be working with our Federal group as an owner’s representative on exciting projects. General responsibilities include Act as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects. Provide expert electrical engineering comments based on these requirementsParticipate in quality control and quality assurance during constructionCoordinate with client peer colleagues, client Project Managers, customers and other client personnel/contractors, and other project team members on projects as necessaryOther similar or related services not of a decision-making natureMiscellaneous services which will require proficiency in the use of Microsoft’s Word, Excel, Power Point, Project software tools and AutoCADAssist in the development of reports, studies and presentationsExhibit professionalism, good customer service and communication skills and serve as a cooperative team playerMultitask and assume multiple projects or assignments simultaneouslyCollaborate and assist in resolving critical and possibly controversial issues with a multi-disciplined team of architects, engineers and federal agency clientsExhibit resiliency if shifting priorities require reprioritization of workloadUnderstand and be able to implement standards as outlined in the POR, client Design Guides and Construction Standards. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
