Senior Electrical Engineer (Mission Critical)

Job Summary

The ideal candidate to fill this position is a Senior Electrical Engineer that is proficient and confident in his/her abilities as an electrical engineer, especially with experience in mission critical and data center project types. This person would be a technical discipline leader of multiple projects, work with an internal MEP/FP team to deliver projects that meet the objectives of the client.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in electrical engineering principles for the field of building construction, especially in Mission Critical sectors including Data Centers and Defense projects
• Capable of increasing technical competency with experience and work ethic
• Able to effectively communicate with owners, contractors, and other design professional partners
• Work well independently as part of a strong team
• Technical mentorship with junior design staff and delegating tasks to complete work on time
• Quality control of electrical engineering work products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Takes responsibility and technical leadership role based on experience

Skills

• Proficient with both Medium and low voltage power systems
• Proficient in implementing high resiliency designs for mission critical infrastructure projects
• Experience with Revit
• Excellent written and oral communication skills essential for team-based projects
• Excellent planning and organizational skills required for overlapping project schedules

Qualifications

• 12+ Years Experience in Consulting/ Design
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar ABET accredited program
• Registered Professional Engineering license (PE) required
• Willing to travel
