Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centers & Mission Critical Infrastructure

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centers & Mission Critical Infrastructure to join a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and delivery of mission‑critical electrical systems that support highly reliable facility operations. The engineer will partner closely with mechanical, network, and construction teams to ensure integrated performance from design through turnover. The position is remote (U.S.‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of mission‑critical electrical systems for new construction and retrofits.
• Conduct detailed power system studies, including load flow analysis and arc flash evaluations.
• Provide technical leadership for Tier III and Tier IV critical facility environments.
• Collaborate with mechanical and network engineering teams to ensure integrated facility performance.
• Support construction teams during equipment installation, energization, and turnover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably within mission‑critical, industrial, or data‑center environments.
• Strong knowledge of medium‑ and low‑voltage power systems, emergency power generation systems, and UPS technologies.
• Experience in the complete lifecycle of electrical systems through design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Understanding of building automation and controls integration.

Pay

Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annually.
