Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Technical Expertise: Act as an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data center projects to ensure technical excellence.
- Client Engagement: Provide expert advisory services on data center projects.
- Technical Project Leadership: Lead the planning, development, and coordination of medium to large engineering projects or portfolio of complex projects.
- Developing Our Teams: Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching of less experienced staff.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need on Day One:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university program is required.
- PE (Professional Engineer’s) License with the ability to become registered in additional states is required.
- At least 12 years of experience in electrical engineering facilities design.
- Experience in data center facilities design is required.
- Experience with DC (direct current) distribution systems at 400VDC (400 volts direct current), 800VDC, or 1500VDC is required.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including NEC and IEC standards.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design, power distribution systems, and backup power systems.
- Experience working with Revit.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven track record in client relationship management.
- Valid driver’s license.
