About the role
Join the Product Development Team as a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on delivering high-voltage battery systems for electric vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team in the battery industry and contribute to the next generation of EV technology within a Tier 1 supplier environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the design and development of the electrical architecture of high-voltage battery systems, including BDU components such as contactors, fuses, FPC, CCS, sensors, busbar and wiring.
- Assisting in translating customer and system-level requirements into feasible and manufacturable design solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, software, testing) to ensure complete system integration.
- Participating in RFQ/RFI processes by preparing technical input and documentation.
- S supporting BMS hardware integration and communication interfaces (CAN/LIN).
- Contributing to system validation, including electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- S supporting DFMEA, DVP&R planning, and functional safety efforts aligned with ISO 26262.
- Engaging with suppliers to review and qualify electrical components.
- Collaborating with global teams, including limited travel to suppliers or OEM sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the battery or EV industry, preferably in a Design and development or validation role.
- Exposure to high-voltage battery systems (400–1000V) including pack or module-level design.
- Basic understanding of BMS, CAN communication, and automotive diagnostic protocols.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as Catia V6 – Electrical and Capital Harness/Busbar.
- Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and automotive product development cycles.
- Exposure to safety standards such as ISO 26262, UN R100, IATF 16949 is a plus.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%, including visits to suppliers and OEMs, both domestic and international.

Pay
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000.00 - $128,000.00 + 15% bonus + benefits.
