Essential Job Responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling software
- Power design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controls
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studies
- Design of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems
- Design of lighting systems
- Develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates
- Conduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasks
- Communication with project leads, clients, and contractors
Skills
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 software
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects)
- Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is expected to be within a range of $120,000 - $160,000 and is based upon multiple factors including level of experience, professional registrations and applicant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
